Activities

The members can freely meet friends in the common hall and have a chat over a cuppa. Myriads of other activities can be organised as detailed below.

Physical Health

Physical activities will be organised in the common community hall. This may include, but not limited to, yoga, tai-chi, Zumba, aerobics, dances, chair exercises, etc. A teacher may be hired, a knowledgeable member may volunteer to guide or a video may be played on the big screen. Doing these in groups in company of friends will help maintain regularity, keep physically fit and make it more enjoyable as well.

Mental Health

Maintaining mental health is very important. Keeping the mind active prevents the onslaught of deadly degenerating conditions like Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s’, etc. Mind games, quiz, Antaxari, Q and A, debate, puzzles, jokes, singing, playing an instrument and many such activities may be organised to keep your mind sharp and active. Indoor games like dart, chess, carom, bridge, etc. are also part of mental activities. There will be a hobby club by which members will be encouraged to take up a hobby to keep their minds active even in idle hours. Come along and sing a song, read a poem or a story, or tell a joke, it will all be a part of making life more enjoyable and inject happiness to everybody.

Spiritual Health

Members are free to practice their faith, meditation, yoga and able to use common facilities provided.
